Tricks and tips for planning an orienteering event
The 27th of January at 2:00 – 3.00 PM there will be a webinar with focus on Asia.
The aim of this webinar is to equip participants with the knowledge to identify, assess, and secure suitable venues for orienteering events according to IOF and WRE standards.
The speakers of this special edition will be true bred Asian orienteers who have a depth of experience in the sport within our continent and they are Mr. Shin Murakoshi (Senior Event Advisor/President of Asian Orienteering Association), Mr. Daniel Pereira (Athlete/Supporter of Asian Orienteering Cup) and Mr. Eugene Chow (GDC member / Secretary General of Asian Orienteering Association).
The topics we aim to cover are
1. IOF Standards / Terrain Suitability,
2. What makes an Orienteering Arena Fun? From the perspective of a well traveled orienteer!
