ADRAAAvis, are a small club in the countryside of Portugal and very active in Orienteering Events, including World Ranking Events. They have a partnership work with schools and some of their members hold official positions in the Potuguese Federation.
They have been joining World Orienteering Week, since the era of World Orienteering Day, because they believe in the project, the international gathering, efforts and recognition which is a great way to reach schools, youth and community to practice orienteering.
Their World Orienteering Week events this year will take place in two schools and an urban park in Avis, the home town of the club. They have already started preparations with the school maps (cartography), which are ready, and now they are developing the courses and preparing the educational games that will help introduce the sport to beginners.
