During the summer 2023 federations was interviewed about their challenged and opportunities with World Orienteering Week. Some federations had brilliant ideas and some had trouble to know what to do.
It then started with a small catalogue called “Best practise”.
Encouraged by the many ideas and not the least Norway – with their fantastic achievements in later years – WOW proposed to make a real catalogue of good ideas and WOW events.
The working group for this work consist of Jenny Nilsson from IOF Office, Walther Rahbek, from IOF Global Development Commission, Henning Carlsen Bratland (NOR), Dominika Plochova (CZE) and Eero-Antti Lonka (FIN).
The hope is that this catalogue will be of inspiration to all event organizers during World Orienteering Week – new as well as more experienced.
