After visiting Turkey, Albania and Austria the WOD Rabbit is now heading south! Together with participants from 27 countries, the Rabbit is taking part in the ISF World Schools Championships in Orienteering in Palermo, Italy. During a week (April 22nd -28th ) there will be a long distance, middle distance and a special team friendship event for school athletes from 14 – 18 years old..
The International School Sport Federation (ISF) is recognised by the International Olympic Committee, and promotes the values and interests of Education through Sport.
The ISF’s events, the World Schools Championships and the Gymnasiade, aim to promote among young people: mutual understanding, volunteering empowerment, peace, non-discrimination, healthy lifestyle, social inclusion, and gender equality. Thus it contributes to support the educative paths of the young people to empower them as citizens of the world. The ISF pursues its goals independently from political, religious or racial considerations.
