The WOW ambassador in Finland, Eero-Antti Lonka try to promote WOW as much as possible.
Last year the Finnish Orienteering Federation had a national campaign during World Orienteering Week and this will continue during World Orienteering Week 2025 as well. Every one will have a great opportunity to invite your friend to join you for an event, whether to refresh old memories or try a completely new sport. During this week, some of the organizing orienteering clubs will offer your friend free participation!
Eero-Antti says;
– “All national campaign events are WOW-events. That’s the reason for the large number of events. In addition, I have added my own club’s and my own company’s events. Some clubs have added their own events. The biggest challenge is how to motivate clubs.”
His intention is to be directly involved in two major events in Finland for this years World Orienteering Week.
